Elaine Bay is one hour's drive from State Highway 6, turning off at Rai Valley onto the French Pass Road. It is part of the outer Pelorous Sound, which is part of the Marlborough Sounds of New Zealand. The area is covered in lush native bush and is home to many species of birds and animals.
The location provides spectacular views from sunrise across the bay (main photo), right through to sunset over the hills. At certain times of the year, dolphins come and play in the bay and are a joy to see.
The accommodation is a minute's walk from the beach and is within easy reach of the many activities and past times that can be enjoyed in the area. Secluded and peaceful, one can come to relax in this picturesque setting, which is in one of New Zealand's most beautiful areas.
